Equipment that uses a diesel engine as its power system will emit plumes of black smoke during operation. This not only creates a smoky working environment for operators, but also causes particularly serious environmental harm.

It is certain that the main reason for black smoke from a diesel engine is incomplete fuel combustion. In addition to reasons related to the equipment's own structural design, it may also be caused by details that operators have failed to notice. The main solutions are as follows:

1. The diesel engine fuel tank is not sealed, and long-term contact with air allows suspended impurities, dust, and similar contaminants in the air to fall into the air filter, causing the air inlet to become blocked. This leads to insufficient air for internal combustion and therefore incomplete combustion. It is recommended that cleaning be carried out more frequently in relatively harsh environments, while in cleaner air environments it can be done at intervals, and the air filter should be replaced regularly.

2. Poor fuel quality may also cause blockage in the oil pipes and passages inside the fuel tank, resulting in insufficient fuel supply. The best solution is to replace the solenoid valve. Poor fuel quality may also damage the fuel filter, and deterioration of the fuel inside can lead to black smoke. In severe cases, it may also damage the fuel system. If the fuel filter is found to be substandard, it must be replaced promptly.

3. Due to poor fuel quality, some impurities may adhere to the surface of the fuel pipes in the fuel system, so the fuel pipes should be cleaned regularly. Adding diesel additive twice can effectively improve black smoke.
